ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner praying to direct the respondent to register a case based on the complaint of the petitioner dated 17.12.2015. 2.The petitioner lodged a complaint on 17.12.2015 before the respondent police against one Chandran, Karthi, Brabhakar, Sadayan and Vigneshwaran stating that on 14.12.2015 the above said persons came in an auto bearing Reg.No.TN 39 BM 1883 and abused the petitioner in a filthy language in pursuant to the previous enmity between them and also assaulted the petitioner with slipper. Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint before the respondent police. Since no action was taken, the petitioner has filed the present criminal original petition. 3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the complaint was sent only by post and if the petitioner gives a fresh complaint, necessary action will be taken. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.In view of the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the petitioner to give a fresh complaint before the respondent police within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, and on receipt of the same, the respondent is directed to conduct enquiry and upon enquiry, if materials are gathered indicating commission of any cognizable offence, the respondent is directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible.

6. This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
