ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 498(A), 406, 506(i) of IPC read with Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, in Crime No.13 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and the defacto complainant are husband and wife. Further, the first petitioner had illegal intimacy with one Nandhini, which was questioned by the defacto complainant, the petitioners had harassed the defacto complainant and demanded dowry. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case and the co-accused have been already released on bail by this Court and prayed for grant of anticipatory bail. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. The learned Government Advocate submitted that this is the second anticipatory bail petition of the petitioner. On earlier occasion, considering the serious allegations, this Court dismissed the petition as against the petitioner. Therefore, the learned counsel vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Taking into consideration the allegations and that the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is essential and there is no change of circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
