O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation letter dated 05.08.2016 and further directing the respondents to correct the petitioner initial as ''S.Asaithambi'' instead of ''G.Asaithambi'' in the college records and the petitioner educational records. 2.

The case of the petitioner is that he was born on 30.01.1988 and his father name is Selvaraj and mother name is Banumathi. At present, the petitioner has completed his +2 in Aruna Higher Secondary School at Vriddhachalam and joined the 1st respondent college. petitioner is that in the School Certificates, his initial was mentioned as ''G.Asaithambi'' instead of ''S.Asaithambi''. In this regard, the petitioner sent a letter dated 05.08.2016 to the respondents for correct his initial in the educational records. But, the same has not been considered. Hence the present Writ Petition.

Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

Considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, the petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the 2nd respondent along with necessary records to show that his father's name is ''S.Asaithambi'', within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, who in turn, on receipt of the same, shall consider and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks thereafter. 5.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
