This petition has been filed to direct the respondent not to harass the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that 16 persons have lodged complaint against this petitioner for chit fund transaction, which are pending investigation.

4. The petitioner is directed to co-operate in the enquiry and during the course of enquiry, she shall not be harassed. If any cognizable offence is made out, the respondent police is free to register an FIR and this order shall not be a shield for the petitioner against arrest.
