ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to take appropriate action by considering the petitioner's representation dated 21.9.2016 to give police protection and permission to conduct Adal Padal programme in Sathasivapuram Kilakku Kadu Arulmigu Sree Mariamman Temple 47th Mandala Pooja Festival, Attur Taluk, Salem District on 30.10.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. The petitioner has sent a representation dated 21.09.2016 by registered post with acknowledgment due to the respondent police, seeking permission to conduct Adal Padal Programme in temple festival. The petitioner is directed to go in person and give a representation to the respondent police and on such representation being given, the respondent police is directed to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

enquire into the same. If there are rival parties, they should also be enquired and depending upon the law and order situation, take action in accordance with law.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
