ORDER

By asserting that the applicant is the absolute and exclusive owner of OTT rights in the cinematographic film SABDHAM by virtue of deed of assignment dated 07.10.2023, the present application is filed to implead the applicant as a defendant in the suit.

2. Learned senior counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is a person affected by order dated 02.07.2025 and that, therefore, the applicant is a proper or necessary party.

3. Learned counsel for the plaintiff submits that the applicant is a garnishee inasmuch as monies are owed by the applicant to the first defendant. This contention is refuted by the applicant.

4. Upon considering the averments in the affidavit, it appears that the applicant is aggrieved by the order of interim injunction dated 02.07.2025. Therefore, this application is allowed as prayed for. Consequently, the plaintiff is directed to carry out the amendments in the plaint on or before 06.08.2025 and serve a copy of the amended plaint on the other parties forthwith.
