The petitioner herein shown as second accused in Cr.No.96 of 2024 registered on 01.04.2024 for the alleged occurrence took place on 31.03.2024 in the presence of a party worker is before this Court to quash the complaint.

2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Gunaseelan who is the complainant in Cr.No.96 of 2024 is infact the aggressor who attacked one Santhana Lakshmi when there was consultation meeting with the party members regarding the election work. To counter blast the said complaint, the impugned complaint is lodged by Gunaseelan.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that the complaint and counter complaint been registered in Cr.Nos.95 and 96 of 2024 and the investigation was almost completed. The final report will be filed following the Police Standard Order 566 and the guidelines issued by the Full Bench of this Court rendered in Balaji .Vs. State of Tamilnadu. 2/4

4. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 30.08.2024 Vv To
