The Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent-Police to file a final report in Crime No.324 of 2023, within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court. 1/4

2. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent-Police, on instructions, submitted that investigation in Crime No.324 of 2023 is over and charge sheet has been filed before the jurisdictional Court, but the same was returned for clarifying some defects and hence, the learned Government Advocate seeks time to re-present the same.

3. In view of the above, the respondent-Police are directed to re-present the charge sheet, after rectifying the defects before the jurisdictional Court, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
