This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 06.10.2017 with regard to appointment to the post of Junior Trade Apprentice (Daily Wages) (based on the interview held on 12.12.2014) within a stipulated time.

According to the petitioner, pursuant to the notification issued by the second respondent for appointment to the post of Junior Trade Apprentice (Daily Wage) in the respondent corporation and applied for the same and he also attended interview on 12.12.2014. Thereafter, the petitioner was eagerly waiting for selection results but the respondent has not sent any communication about the result of the petitioner. Thereafter, it appears that the petitioner made representation on 06.10.2017 to the respondents 1 and 2 requesting to inform about his selection to the subject post but despite the receipt of the same, the respondent has not sent any reply.

3. In such circumstances, the petitioner made an application under RTI Act seeking information about the results of the final selection and to furnish the copy of the final results if, published already but this was refused. Hence the present Writ Petition.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice to issue direction to the respondents to dispose of the representation in accordance with law.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, I am inclined to issue a direction to the respondents to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, if not disposed of already, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
