O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to dispose of her representation dated 09.04.2024 seeking cancellation of patta issued in the name of the respondents 4 and 5 in respect of the lands comprised in S.Nos.182/5, 185/4, 187/1 and 182/2 measuring 1.66 acres situated at Sekkadu Village, Avadi Taluk, Thiruvallur District.

2. According to the petitioner, she has been in possession and enjoyment of the above mentioned lands for more than 30 years with the revenue records in her name. The names of the respondents 4 and 5 have been wrongly entered in the revenue records recently. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation seeking deletion of their names from the revenue records and restoration of patta in the name of the petitioner. The representation was submitted by the petitioner on 09.04.2024 to the 2nd respondent, has not been considered till date. 2/4

3. Mr.D.Gopal, learned Government Advocate, who is taking notice for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 09.04.2024 will be considered by the 2nd respondent on its own merit within the time fixed by this Court.

4. In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.04.2024 and pass final orders on its own merit, after issuing necessary notice to the respondents 4 and 5, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
