PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the trial court to expedite the trial in the above S.T.C.No.13 of 2018 on the file of the Fast Track Court, Tiruvannamalai and dispose of the matter at an early date.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed by the accused to direct the Fast Track Court (Magistrate Level), Thiruvannamalai to dispose of the case in S.T.C.No.13 of 2018 at early.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the respondent herein filed a complaint under Negotiable Instruments Act and based on the same, the learned Judicial Magistrate has taken the case on file in S.T.C.No.13 of 2018. He further submitted that the petitioner herein had filed a petition under Section 45 of the Indian Evidence Act in Crl.MP.No.2400 of 2019 to send the disputed cheque for getting experts opinion, but, the said petition has not been disposed of and hence, the main case also is pending without any progress.

3. Considering the aforesaid submission, the trial court is directed to dispose of the Crl.MP.No.2400 of 2019 within one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and thereafter, dispose of the case in S.T.C.NO.13 of 2018 as early as possible.
