Prayer: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code praying to direct the second respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.1 of 2023 and to file a final report under Section 173(2) of the Criminal Procedure Code before the jurisdictional court.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the second respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.1 of 2023 and 1/4

file a final report before the jurisdictional court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the second respondent registered a case in the above said crime number on 26.1.2023, no final report is filed till date.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the second respondent may be permitted to file a final report within a period of six months.

5. In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is 2/4
