Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.07.2024 seeking permission to run a petty/bunk shop since 14.04.2009 in a small 1/4

size of 5 x 5 on Kancheepuram Railway Road within Arappananjary Village boundary for more than 15 years on the side of road about 100 feet wide without any road obstruction for public. I bring biscuits, bread and home made tea in flasks used by the public and sell the products at a low price to the public who come to the small scale hospital, bus stop or any other nearby area, enabling the petitioner to make out some earnings to run the petitioner's family.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 18.07.2024.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner submitted a representation seeking permission to run a petty/bunk shop on Kancheepuram Railway Road within the jurisdiction of Arappananjary Village, Kancheepuram District. 2/4

On receipt of such application, now it is pending with the Town Vending Committee of the third respondent.

4. In view of the above, the third respondent is directed to issue suitable order to the Committee to dispose of the application submitted by the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
