ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No. 408 of 2021 on the file of Judicial Magistrate Additional Mahila Court Namakkal for offences under Section 4(1) 5(1)(a) 6(1) (a) of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention ) Act 1956.

2. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent police submits that the trial has commenced and 13 witnesses have already been examined out of 14 witnesses and the matter is posted for examination of the Investigation Officer.

3. Since the trial is almost completed, I feel it is appropriate for the petitioner to contest the case and workout his remedy by participating in the trial. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is closed and the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
