O R D E R

Pursuant to the settlement deed dated 01.04.2015, said to have been executed by her husband, the petitioner sought for transfer of Patta in her name by way of representation dated 11.08.2015, with respect to the property situated in Survey No. 17/2, to an extent of 0.54 cents, situated at Navavampattu Village, Thiruvannamalai Taluk. Seeking early disposal of the said representation, as it is still pending for more than four months, the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner before this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

3. Taking note of the pendency of the representation before the respondent and without going into the merits of the case, the respondent is directed to consider the pending representation of the petitioner dated 11.08.2015 and pass appropriate orders on the same, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and third parties, if any.

4. With the above direction, the present writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
