The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences under Sections 85 of BNS (498(A) of IPC) and 351(3) of BNS (506(ii) of IPC), in Crime No.Not known of 2025, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that, no case has been registered against the petitioners and only a CSR No.394 of 2025 is pending. He further submitted that if the petitioners participates in the enquiry, appropriate action will be taken in accordance with law.

3. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of with a direction to the petitioners to appear before the respondent police on receipt of summons and to co-operate with the enquiry. The enquiry shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No coercive steps shall be taken against the petitioners unless and until any cognizable offence is made out. 08.09.2025 nvi 2/4
