ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a mandamus seeking for a direction to the first and second respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.10.2021 seeking for revocation of the suspension order dated 28.12.2020 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner has been suspended from service since 28.12.2020. He has given a representation on 20.10.2021 seeking for revocation of his suspension. Since the representation has not been considered till date, he has filed this Writ Petition.

3. Heard Mr.M.Ramamoorthi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.Tippu sulthan, learned counsel for the respondents. 2/6

4. The Government has framed guidelines for revoking the suspension orders in G.O.Ms.No.81 dated 04.08.2022. The petitioner seeks for revocation of his suspension order. He has given his representation on 20.10.2021 for the said purpose.

5. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representation dated 20.10.2021, seeking for revocation of his suspension, is considered on merits and in accordance with law, in the light of G.O.Ms.No.81 dated 04.08.2022 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the first respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's representation dated 20.10.2021, seeking for revocation of his suspension order dated 28.12.2020 passed against him, in the light of G.O.Ms.No.81 dated 04.08.2022, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/6

7. With the aforesaid directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
