This Contempt Petition is filed alleging willful disobedience of the order, dated 11.08.2023 made in W.P.No.23510 of 2023, directing the respondents to settle the retirement benefits to the petitioner within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. 2.Today, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner has been permitted to retire from service. A copy of G.O.(2D) No.488, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Services Wing, Ser.2(3) Section, dated 16.07.2025, is produced before this Court. He would further submit that the retirement benefits have also been disbursed to the petitioner. The proceedings of the Additional Commissioner (Revenue Administration) dated 30.07.2025, is also produced in this regard. However, it is submitted that, only the pension papers are under process and it would take two weeks to complete the process.

3.In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this Contempt Petition is closed for the present. The respondents shall process the pension papers of the petitioner within a period of three weeks from today.
