ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition is filed seeking a direction to the VIII Small Causes Court, Chennai, to dispose of RCA.No.436 of 2016 within a stipulated period.

2. According to the revision petitioner, he obtained an order of eviction against the respondent in RCOP.No.415 of 2014. The respondent herein filed an appeal before the Appellate Authority in RCA.No.436 of 2016. The matter was taken up for hearing and the petitioner herein advanced his arguments on 18.03.2020 and thereafter, the matter has been adjourned from time to time without any substantial progress.

3. The perusal of the docket order filed in the typed set of papers would suggest that the revision petitioner herein advanced his arguments on 18.03.2020 itself and then the matter has been adjourned without any progress.

4. Therefore, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the Court below to dispose of the RCA.No.436 of 2016 within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
