P.Shanmugam v. The Director General Of Police
W.P.No.26246 of 2021 R.N.MANJULA, J.
This matter is listed today under the caption "For being mentioned".
2. Heard both sides.
3.This Court is convinced with the clerical error occurred in the order. Instead of mentioning 'first respondent', it is mentioned as 'second respondent'. Hence the Registry is directed to carry out the corrections in paragraphs viz., 4 & 5 of the order dated 12.10.2023 as below: " 4. On perusal of the impugned order of the first respondent dated 26.06.2021, it is seen that no specific reason has been granted except a formal observation that the charge is grave and the punishment is not excessive. In fact, the petitioner was given with a minor charge and hence, the petitioner is at liberty to make a fresh representation to the first respondent and on receipt of the same, the first respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders.
5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed with a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation to be made by the petitioner and dispose the same in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs." Page 1 / 3
4. The other portions of the order dated 12.10.2023 remains unaltered.
5. Registry is directed to carryout the above corrections and issue fresh order copy.
