This petition is filed by the petitioners / appellants / claimants seeking to condone the delay of 539 days in filing the above Appeal.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner / appellant. Despite serving notice on the contesting respondent / R-3, there is no representation on behalf of it.
3. Therefore, having regard to the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this petition and being satisfied with the same, the delay of 539 days in filing the above Appeal is condoned subject to the following conditions:- (i) The petitioners / appellants shall pay a sum of Rs.500/- as costs to the "Tamil Nadu State Legal Services Authority, Chennai" on or before 20.11.2019, failing which, this petition shall stand automatically dismissed without any further reference to this Court; and (ii) The petitioners / appellants / claimants are not entitled to any interest for the default period, in the event of succeeding in the Appeal.
4. This petition is ordered accordingly.
