ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent police to provide police protection for Santhanakudu/Kanthuri festival scheduled to be held on 10.12.2021 at Ibadullah Shah @ Balsha Tomb situate at Amirthi Road, Kaniambadi Village, Vellore Taluk, Vellore District by considering his representation dated 22.11.2021.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that the festival seeking police protection was already conducted, hence the relief sought in this writ petition has become infructuous.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs.
