[ RESPONDENTS] Prayer:Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to take action upon petitioner representation dated 29.07.2016.

ORDER
The prayer in the writ petition is filed to direct the respondents to take action upon petitioner representation dated 29.07.2016.
2.Today when the matter is taken up, the learned Additional Central Government Standing Counsel appearing for the first respondent produced the death certificate of the deceased person along with instructions of the Ministry of Affairs wherein it is stated at last paragraph as follows:
"Request letter received from family through lawyer: On 05.06.2013 family requested for original authenticated copies of documents and sought procedure for accident claim. Embassy replied on 30.06.2013 that the original death related documents from Saudi Authorities were still awaited. Also it was informed that the detailed police report would determine the eligibility of death compensation which was not received at that time. No formal death related documents from MOFA have been received so far. Note Verbal to MOFA has been sent on 09/10/2016 for formal documents and legal dues."
Learned counsel has clearly stated that if the petitioner wants to claim for compensation, she has to produce necessary documents to the Embassy.
3. In view of the above, it is for the authority to approach the embassy for further development and whether the petitioner is entitled for compensation. Recording the above statement, the writ petition is closed. No costs.
