The petitioner made a representation on 20.08.2015 to the respondent No. 3, seeking issuance of Patta in favour of his minor daughter for the property situated at Mechari Village, in survey Nos. 493/1E1, 493/1E3, 495/4B and 493/1E2. As the said representation, though made on 20.08.2015, is still pending consideration before the respondent No. 3, the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner before this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent Nos. 1 to 3.

3. It is clear that the question of issuing patta lies within the jurisdiction of the respondent No. 3. Therefore, the prayer as sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner cannot be granted.

4. However, taking note of the pendency of the representation said to have been made before the respondent No.3, the said authority is directed to consider the pending representation of the petitioner dated 20.08.2015 and pass appropriate orders on the same, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as the respondent No. 4.

4. With the above direction, the present writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
