The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to register a case based on the complaint of the petitioner dated 12.12.2015. 2.The petitioner herein lodged a complaint on 12.12.2015 as against one Murthy, Mari, Suresh and others on the allegation of threat made by the said persons with regard the dispute that arose between both sides in respect of encroachment of a public well, which is situated inside the petitioner's property. Though the said complaint was given on 12.12.2015, till date no action was taken by the respondents-Police. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present criminal original petition. 3.When the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner has to address a letter to the Tahsildar to ascertain, who is the owner of the public well in question and that on receipt of the report of the Tahsildar, necessary action will be taken by the 2nd respondent-police.

4.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

5.In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, there is no need to give any specific direction to the respondents.

Recording the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this criminal original petition is closed.
