Respondents Prayer: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to change over the boundaries of the Ward Nos.1 to 9, Thailapuram Village Panchayat, Thailapuram, Vanur Taluk, Villupuram District by disposing the written representation made by the petitioner on 19.8.2016 within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

The prayer sought for in this writ petition is to issue a direction to the first respondent to change over the boundaries of the Ward Nos.1 to 9, Thailapuram Village Panchayat, Thailapuram, Vanur Taluk, Villupuram District, by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 19.8.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned counsel appearing for the third respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered in accordance with law.

4. In the light of the limited prayer sought for in this writ petition and the submissions made by the learned Special Government Pleader, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 19.8.2016, on merits and in accordance with law, after providing an opportunity to all necessary parties.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
