Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly a writ in the nature of a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent herein to dispose of the petitioner's Appeal dated 10.12.2018 within a time frame after giving reasonable opportunity of personal hearing and pass order.

As per the request, the Writ Petition is taken up for final hearing at the stage of Admission itself.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that without going into the merits of the case, it would be suffice to issue direction to the first respondent to dispose of the Writ Petitioner's Appeal dated 10.12.2018 within the time frame after giving reasonable opportunity of personal hearing.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was working as Assistant General Manager in Sri Rangavilas G.S. & W (Ginning, Spinning & Weaving) Mills, an unit of National Corporation Limited, a Government of India Undertaking and disciplinary action was initiated against him in which the Enquiry Officer gave a finding to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Disciplinary Authority. The Disciplinary Authority accepting the report submitted by the Enquiry Officer, dismissed the petitioner from service by order dated 19.11.2018. Against the said order, Appeal was preferred by the petitioner, however till date Appeal was not disposed of even after the expiry of 8 months.

4. Without expressing any opinion, I am inclined to issue direction to the first respondent to dispose of the Writ Petitioner's Appeal dated 10.12.2018 within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.
