Respondent Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to register the sale deed dated 04.05.2016 relating to the land in Survey No.81/3 (old No.333B), Patta No.242 situated at Attavanaipidariyur Village, Perundurai Taluk, Chennimalai Sub Registration District, Erode District and return the same to the petitioner within the time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the sale deed dated 04.05.2016 and return the same to the petitioner within the time frame to be stipulated by this Court.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner purchased the property to an extent of 1.45 acres out of 3.45 acres in Survey No.81/3 (old No.333B), Patta No.242 situated at Attavanaipidariyalur Village, Perundurai Taluk, Chennimalai Sub Registration District, Erode District. When the petitioner presented the sale for registration along with all the documents, the respondent refused to register the same without any valid reason. Therefore, the petitioner gave representation to the respondent to register the sale deed. But the sale deed was not registered till date. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present Writ Petition.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader for the respondent has submitted that if the petitioner produce all the relevant documents, the respondent is ready to register the sale deed.

This Court, considering the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner either in the representation or in this writ petition, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.08.2016 and on the petitioner producing all the relevant documents, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders as expeditiously as possible, in any event, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
