O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to conduct enquiry and to take action against some of the Adhoc Committee members based on the reports that has already been submitted by the second respondent dated 04.02.2025 and 06.02.2025 and by considering the representation made by the petitioner on 20.06.2025.

2. Heard Mr.R.T.Vishnu, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.S.Haja Mohideen, learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondents.

3. Learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the Wakf Board submitted that subsequently, election was conducted on 10.08.2025 and 21 members were elected and out of that 5 persons belonging to the Adhoc Committee were also elected.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the reports given by the second respondent dated 04.02.2025 and 06.02.2025, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to conduct enquiry after affording opportunity to the petitioner and the Adhoc Committee members against whom the complaint has been given. The enquiry shall be completed within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the report shall be placed before the Wakf Board. The Wakf Board shall take a decision within a period of eight (8) weeks thereafter. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
