Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to issue the Voter ID based on the petitioner's application in Form 8A & 6 made on 11.09.2016 and 23.08.2016 respectively in Palladam Constituency to the petitioner within the time frame as may be fixed by this Court, in the interest of justice.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to issue Voter ID to the petitioner, after making necessary entries adding her name in the ration card of her husband, based on her applications dated 11.09.2016 and 23.08.2016, in order to contest in the forthcoming local body election for Palladam Constituency. 2.Today, when the matter was taken up, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on written instructions, submitted that necessary entries have already been effected in the ration card of the husband of the petitioner and it will be incorporated in the voters' list, forthwith.

3.Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. Sd/- Asst. Registrar.
