ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to issue a direction directing the respondent to register the complaint dated 04.10.2021 made by the petitioner to the respondent. 2.The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the second wife of one Vadivel. The said Vaidvel, earlier married to one Angammal, since there was no issues between them, the petitioner's husband with the concurrence of the first wife, without divorcing the first wife had married the petitioner. There was a delay occurred in respect of the petitioner getting conceived. Thereafter the petitioner was taking treatment for pregnancy. But unfortunately, petitioner got aborted, for which she has been abused and assaulted by the husband and his family members. In view of the same, she had sent a complaint to the respondent police through post. Thereafter, the respondent police have not taken any action. Hence, she filed the above said petition.
3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the complaint of the petitioner has been received by post. To verify the veracity of the complaint, the presence of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
petitioner is required. In view of the same, the petitioner has to appear before the respondent police along with the copy of the complaint dated 14.10.2021. Thereafter, appropriate action would be taken by the respondent police.
4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner on instruction submits that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police on 28.12.2021.
5.Considering the submissions and on perusal of materials, this Court directs the petitioner to appear before the respondent police along with the copy of the complaint on 28.12.2021. Thereafter, appropriate action would be taken by the respondent police.
6.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
