PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to call for the records relating to the case in C.C.No.172 of 2015 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Arakonam, Vellore District and quash the same insofar as the petitioners are concerned.

The above petition has been filed to quash the charge sheet filed against the present accused for the offences under Sections 417, 419, 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 r/w 120 (B) r/w 109 of I.P.C.
2. It is stated by the learned Counsel for the respondent that the trial has already been commenced and out of eight witnesses, two witnesses have already been examined and the case is posted on 23.11.2021 for examination of further witnesses. As the very charge is for the offences under Sections 417, 419, 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 r/w 120 (B) r/w 109 of I.P.C and the trial has already been commenced, this Court is not inclined to quash the proceedings.
3. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
