This writ petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondents 1, 2 and 4 to fix the petitioner in the time scale of pay for the group D posts in the government and pay the arrears from the date of her joining service i.e., 10.03.2018 as resident warden for the Model School,G.Ariyur, Thirukoilur Taluk and Kallakurichi District.

2. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.06.2024 and, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and giving her personal opportunity of hearing, to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 2/4

3. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected WMP Nos.27585 and 27586 of 2024 are closed.
