O R D E R

This Contempt Petition has been filed for the alleged disobedience of the order of this Court dated 09.03.2017 made in W.P. No. 5787 of 2017. 1/3

2. In the said order, this Court had directed the second respondent to entertain the representation of the petitioner dated 28.01.2017 and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame that was stipulated by this Court.

3. The said order according to the petitioner had not been compiled with, as the respondents did not pass orders by entertaining the representation of the petitioner as directed by this Court. Therefore, this Contempt Petition was filed in the year 2017.

4. However, the said representation submitted by the petitioner having been entertained by the respondent / Tahsildar, he has passed an order on 31.05.2017.

5. Felt aggrieved over the said order passed by the respondent / Tahsildar, the petitioner challenging the same filed subsequent Writ Petition in W.P. No. 15538 of 2017 and the same is also pending before this Court.

6. In view of the said development, where pursuant to the said order passed by this Court in W.P. No. 5787 of 2017, orders has been passed by the respondent on 31.05.2017 and the same also has been challenged in the subsequent Writ Petition filed by the petitioner, this Court feels that, nothing survives in the Contempt Petition to pursue further. 2/3

7. In view of the above, this Contempt Petition is liable to be closed. Accordingly, it is closed. Consequently, connected Sub Application is closed.
