The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to pay last retirement month eleven days salary i.e., from 21.05.2016 to 31.05.2016 to the petitioner.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has submitted a representation on 15.02.2025, claiming his last eleven days salary and such representation is pending with the respondents.

3. At this juncture, the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents fairly submitted that they will consider the petitioner's above representation dated 15.02.2025 and pass orders according to its own merits and in accordance with law, within a reasonable time.

4. I have given my anxious consideration to either side submissions and also perused the materials available on record.

5. In view of the fair submission made by the learned Standing Counsel, without going to the merits of the writ petition, this Court, deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's above 2/4

representation dated 15.02.2025 and pass orders, according to its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
