ORDER
This petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.16 of 2016 on the file of the first respondent for the offences under Sections 147, 294(b), 323 and 506(i) of IPC.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent submitted that the investigation has been completed and a final report was filed before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Namakkal on 19.07.2023. However, the learned Judicial Magistrate is yet to take cognizance of the final report submitted by the first respondent herein. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous.
3. In view of the submission, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as having become infructuous. The Judicial Magistrate No.I, Namakkal, is directed to take cognizance of the final report filed by the first respondent.
