ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the first Respondent to conduct the enquiry on the complaint dated 27.06.2024 under Maintenance of Parents and Senior Citizens Act.

2. Heard and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner lodged a complaint under Section 23 of the Maintenance of Parents and Senior Citizens Act as against the second respondent before the first respondent. On receipt of the same, the first respondent is now conducting enquiry and proceeded with the enquiry to be held on 09.09.2024.

4. In view of the above, the first respondent is directed to complete the enquiry, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as the second respondent and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
