This application has been filed to extend the time granted to the petitioner on 13.04.2022 in Crl.M.P.No.11305 of 2021 in Crl.O.P.No.6106 of 2019 to extend the time granted to the petitioner to comply with the conditions.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that this Court in Crl.M.P.No.11305 of 2021 in Crl.O.P.No.6106 of 2019 by an Order dated 13.04.2022 had directed the learned Judicial Magistrate II, Karaikkal to return the passport of the petitioner to the petitioner for the purpose of renewal and to travel France. The learned Judicial Magistrate had returned the passport to the petitioner, however the passport sent for renewal was not returned to the petitioner so far. He would further submit that as and when the passport is received from the passport authority, he shall travel to France and return back to India. Thereby he
seeks for extension of time for three months to complete the process of renewal, travel and return back to India.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent would submit that pursuant to the Order dated 13.04.2022 in Crl.M.P.No.11305 of 2021 in Crl.O.P.No.6106 of 2019, the petitioner had also furnished the sureties.
4. Consideration the submissions, this petition is ordered and three months time is extended to comply with the other conditions as ordered by this Court in Crl.M.P.No.11305 of 2021 in Crl.O.P.No.6106 of 2019 dated 13.04.2022, from the date on which, the order copy made ready. It is made clear that as and when the petitioner returns back from France to India, he shall return his passport to the learned Judicial Magistrate II, Karaikal.
