ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the 4th respondent to remove the petitioners name from Rowdy List bearing History Sheet No.11 on the file of the 4th respondent and consequently direct the respondent to pay a Compensation of Rs.3,00,000/- (Rupees Three Lakhs only) to this Petitioner.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the district leader of a political party and has been falsely implicated in cases stemming from protests against the ruling party. He contends that there are no serious allegations against the petitioner; nevertheless, the petitioner's name has been included in the history sheet maintained by the 4th respondent. Although the petitioner has submitted several representations to delete his name from the history sheet, the same have not been considered.

3. On perusal of the counter-affidavit reveals that the petitioner is involved in 11 cases, and his name was entered into the history sheet as H.S. No. 11 of 2024. The history sheet is still maintained by the 4th respondent on the ground that the petitioner continuously acts in a manner prejudicial to public peace and tranquillity.

4. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to submit a fresh representation to the 3rd respondent. Upon receipt of the same, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider it and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above observations and directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
