(This case has been heard through video conference) This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for transfer of investigation in Crime No.305 of 2016 from the file of 2nd Respondent Police Station to any other Police Station and for further direction to file the final report within the time limit fixed by this Court.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Counsel for the Government (Crl. Side) would submit the case in Crime No.305 of 2016 has already been closed as "mistake of facts" on 10.09.2016 and thereby, the petition has become infructuous.
