ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records in Crime No.392 of 2020, on the file of the 1st respondent police against the petitioner and quash the same. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that on 28.04.2020, during the lockdown period, the petitioner went to withdraw money at the ATM. The respondent police conducted vehicle inspection on that day and the petitioner's name was noted and case was registered against the petitioner. He further submits that the State Government had relaxed full lockdown, on the date of occurrence, the petitioner went to ATM and medical shop only. He also submits that a false case was registered against the petitioner and prays to call for the records in Crime No.392 of 2020, on the file of the 1st respondent police against the petitioner and quash the same. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that initially a case was registered by the respondents and after investigation, he filed 'Further Action Dropped' report on 10.06.2020 before the learned Judicial Magistrate - I, Mayiladuthurai.

4.In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudicating the petition and hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
