ORDER

The petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of IDOP.No.383 of 2022 pending before the Principal District Court, Tiruvallur. Page No.1 of 4

2. In view of the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, notice to the respondent is dispensed with.

3. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and I have also gone through the materials placed before this Court.

4. The major grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner has filed the said OP seeking dissolution of the marriage in the year 2022 and despite the pleadings having been completed, the trial court is yet to commence the trial and the said IDOP is pending for the past three years. Learned counsel further fairly submitted that an application has been taken out in I.A.No.1 of 2024 for payment of interim maintenance to the respondent and the children and the said application is also not yet been disposed of.

5. In the light of the above, direction is issued to the Principal District Court, Tiruvallur to dispose of the Interlocutory application pending, if any, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of Page No.2 of 4

a copy of this order and thereafter, shall dispose of the main OP in IDOP.No.383 of 2022 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) months, after hearing the parties.

6. Accordingly, this Civil revision petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction. No costs.
