Respondents Prayer : Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to pass orders approving the appointment of the petitioner to the post of PG Assistant (Zoology) in the 3rd respondent School with effect from 01.03.2021 together with all the service and monetary benefits by considering the 3rd respondent's request for approval dated 30.03.2022. ORDER

By consent of both the parties, this writ petition has been taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 1/4

2. Mr.C. Sathish, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the 1st respondent to pass orders approving the appointment of the petitioner to the post of Post Graduate (P.G.)- Assistant (Zoology) in the 3rd respondent School with effect from 01.03.2021 together with all the service and monetary benefits by considering the 3rd respondent's request for approval dated 30.03.2022.

4. The grievance of the petitioner is that despite a proposal having been submitted by the 3rd respondent School to the 1st respondent requesting for appointment of the petitioner to the post of P.G. Assistant (Zoology) with effect from 01.03.2021, till date the proposal has not been considered by the 1st respondent and appointment orders have not been issued in favour of the petitioner.

5. Heard Mr.B.Kumarasamy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.C.Sathish, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

6. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the 3rd respondent's proposal dated 30.03.2022 seeking for approval of the petitioner's appointment to the post of P.G. Assistant (Zoology) in the 3rd 2/4

respondent with effect from 01.03.2021, is considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the 1st respondent to pass final orders on the 3rd respondent's proposal dated 30.03.2022 seeking for approval of the appointment of the petitioner to the post of P.G. Assistant (Zoology) in the 3rd respondent school with effect from 01.03.2021, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

8. With the aforesaid directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
