ORDER
By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the 2 nd and 3 rd respondents to measure the petitioner's property in Survey 2/6
No.1120/2B after sub division S.No.1120/2B1 to an extent of about 0.11 1⁄2 cents equals to 5014 sq.ft in Chennathur North Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District by disposing of petitioner's online application dated 02.06.2025 vide application No.2025/0123/31/011212. 3.Mr.R.Ramesh Raja, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the absolute owner of the property in Survey No.1120/2B after sub division S.No.1120/2B1 an extent of about 0.11 1⁄2 cents equals to 5014 sq.ft in Chennathur North Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District and the said property was purchased by him by way of registered sale deed dated 25.04.2025 registered as document No.6507 of 2025 on the file of the Hosur Sub Registrar Office.
3.1.It is further submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that acknowledging the possession, patta was also issued by the revenue officials after appropriate sub division vide patta No.12426. 3.2.It is further submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has submitted a representation on 02.06.2025 vide application No.2025/0123/31/011212 for measurement of the property. However, the said representation has not been considered so far. Aggrieved by the same, the 3/6
petitioner has come before this Court.
4.Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the respondents would consider the petitioner's representation and measure the subject property, within a time frame fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
5.It is further submitted by the learned Special Government Pleader that in case police protection is required, they would request the 4 th respondent.
When this was pointed out, the learned Government Advocate, Mr.R.Kishore Kumar appearing for the 4 th respondent would submit that if any such request is made, adequate police protection will be granted. 6.In view thereof, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner's application dated 02.06.2025 and measure the subject property and complete the process within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of uploading of web copy without waiting for receipt of certified copy after giving prior notice to the petitioner, adjacent land owners and other interested parties including rival claimants if any. It is open to respondents 1 to 3 to request for police protection before the 4 th respondent. If 4/6
any such request is made, the 4 th respondent is directed to provide adequate police protection for conducting the survey. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondents to consider the matter on its own merits and in accordance with law. No costs.
