Sholingur Municipality represented by its Commissioner Office of Sholingur Municipality Sholingur Ranipet District Respondent Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for the records of the respondent relating to their proceedings vide Na.Ka.No.2876/2024/F1 dated 12.08.2024 in rejecting the petitioner's representation dated 16.07.2024 and the consequential notice dated 17.08.2024 vide Na.Ka.No.2876/2024/F1 dated 17.08.2024 issued under Section 128(1)(b) of the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies Act, 1998, calling upon the petitioner to remove the alleged encroachment made in Door No.109/1, Annadhanan Chattiram Street, Kondapalayam Village, Sholingur Town, Ranipet District 631 102 comprised in S.No.645/2A(10) to an extent of 0.01.91 Hec.

and quash the same and consequently, forbearing the respondent from in any way interfering with the petitioner's peaceful possession and occupation of the above said shop premises, particularly by way of dispossession or cancellation of tax assessment made in favour of the petitioner.

ORDER

(made by M. SUNDAR, J.) When the captioned main 'writ petition' [hereinafter 'WP' for the sake of brevity] was taken up for hearing, Mr. D.S. Rajasekaran, learned counsel on record for writ petitioner sought leave of this Court to withdraw the captioned main WP and captioned 'writ miscellaneous petitions' [hereinafter 'WMPs' for the sake of brevity] thereat. Learned counsel has also made an endorsement in this regard in the case bundle, a scanned reproduction of which is as follows:
