This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the criminal proceeding in Crime No.558 of 2016 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Vellore District.

2. The learned Government Advocate would submit that the first respondent police has completed the investigation in Crime No.558 of 2016 and also filed a charge sheet before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Thiruppathur, on 23.07.2017. However, the same has not been taken on file.

3.In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, at this stage, this Court cannot invoke Section 482 Cr.P.C. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the

charge sheet. Further, this Court direct the Court below to take the final report on record and proceed with the trial. 4.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
