O R D E R

Pursuant to the order passed on 26.09.2025, the matter was listed for hearing today. The learned counsel for the petitioners, after going 1/4

through the proceedings of the District Collector dated 25.09.2025, submitted that the District Collector has taken a completely different stand in order to deny the issuance of patta in favour of the petitioners. The learned counsel further submitted that adjacent land owner has been issued patta and there is no reason as to why the patta is denied for the petitioners by taking a different stand.

2. The learned Additional Advocate General submitted that the decision has not been taken only insofar as the petitioners are concerned and that the decision will apply to all those persons who are occupying the land. The learned Additional Advocate General further submitted that the land has now been reclassified as "kid", which was earlier classified as "fHpt[ePh; fhy;tha;". The change has also been made in the TSLR.

3. In the light of the above developments, no further orders can be passed in the contempt petition. If the writ petitioners are aggrieved by the order passed by the District Collector, it is left open to the petitioners to workout their remedy in the manner known to law. On the other hand, it is also left open to the petitioners to submit a fresh representation before the District Collector in line with G.O.Ms.No.205, Revenue & 2/4

DM [LD-I(1) Department, dated 26.04.2025 seeking for patta. If any such representation is made, the District Collector will deal with it in line with G.O.Ms.No.205, Revenue & DM [LD-I(1) Department, dated 26.04.2025.
