ORDER

Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of the writ petition, the petitioner had attained the age of superannuation and retired from service and thus, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for consideration.

2. Recording the aforesaid submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is closed as infructuous. No costs.
