O R D E R

The present petition has been filed seeking modification of one of the conditions imposed by the Court below while granting anticipatory bail to the petitioners that they should appear and sign before the Vandavasi North Police Station daily at 10.00 a.m., for a continuous period of 30 days.

The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners/accused persons have filed anticipatory bail petition before the learned Principal District Sessions Judge, Thiruvannamalai and the learned Judge by order dated 12.09.2022 in Crl.MP.No.2476 of 2022 had directed the petitioners to appear and sign before the Vandavasi North Police Station daily at 10.00 a.m., for a continuous period of 30 days. Some of the petitioners were injured and the complaint given by the petitioners, counter case in Cr.No.322 of 2022 has been registered by the respondent police. He would further submit that the petitioners found difficult to travel 40 kms to Vandavasi with injury and thereby, they seek modification of the aforesaid condition.

Considering the aforesaid submissions, the condition imposed by the Court below in Crl.MP.No.2476 of 2022 dated 12.09.2022 is modified to the effect that the petitioners shall appear and sign before the Arani Town Police Station, Arani everyday at 10.30 a.m., for a continuous period of 30 days. The other conditions shall remain unaltered.

4. With the above modification, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
