The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondent to consider his Online Application No.2023/0105/08/393264, dated 16.05.2023 for transfer of patta.

According to the petitioner, his father purchased the property comprised in Survey No.18/9 with an extent of 1.13 cents situated at Tharamangalam Municipality, Omalur Taluk, Salem District under a registered Sale Deed dated 23.04.1996 and he died on 25.11.2010 leaving behind petitioner and other legal heirs. Therefore, the petitioner submitted an online application on 16.05.2023 in Application No.2023/0105/08/393264 seeking transfer of patta in the name of his legal heirs. The same has not been considered by the respondent. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Mr.U.Baranidaran, learned Additional Government Pleader, who is taking notice for the respondent would submit that the online application of the petitioner dated 16.05.2023 will be considered by the respondent on its own merit within the time fixed by this Court.

4. In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the respondent to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 16.05.2023 in Application No.2023/0105/08/393264 and pass final orders on its own merit, 2/4

within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
